Getting started
What Optimus Engine is, who it's for and how quickly your real-estate website goes live.
Optimus Engine is a complete real-estate website platform made by Realtyna. You get a ready-to-use website with property search, maps, listing pages and contact forms, plus a built-in MLS connection through RealtyFeed. Everything is managed from one simple screen, the Site Manager, so you don't need to know WordPress or hire a developer. We take care of hosting, updates and backups for you.
It's built for real-estate professionals of every size:
- individual agents;
- teams;
- brokerages;
- developers;
- rental companies.
When you set up your site, you pick your business type and the Site Builder pre-selects a matching design, pages and wording for you.
Most people have a working website the same day. Right after you sign up, your site is created and the Site Builder opens: a guided, 9-step setup with a live preview. You answer simple questions about your business, look and feel, listings and pages, then select Build my website and watch it being built. You can come back and change your answers at any time.
No. Optimus Engine is designed for people who have never built a website. The Site Builder walks you through setup in plain language, and the Site Manager puts listings, leads, pages and settings in one easy place. Optimus Engine runs on WordPress, but you don't need to know it: if you are comfortable with WordPress, you can still open the classic admin screens and the block editor whenever you like. They look like the Site Manager, with light and dark mode.
Open the signup page from any Get started button on this site. The steps are:
- Choose a plan (or a free trial, when one is offered).
- Create your account with your email and a password, confirmed with a short code we email you. Some providers also offer sign-in with Google.
- Name your website and pick its address. We check right away that the address is free and suggest alternatives if it's taken.
- Start your trial or pay securely, and your website is created.
Our signup page doesn't accept one-time (disposable) email addresses, such as those from temporary-mail services that stop working after a few minutes. You'd see "Please use a permanent email address — one-time addresses can't be used here." Sign up with an address you'll keep: we send your sign-in links, trial reminders and invoices there. If you're sure your address is a normal, permanent one, contact our support team.
No: variations of one mailbox count as the same address. At Gmail, dots don't matter and googlemail.com is gmail.com, and a "+tag" ([email protected]) is ignored, so the signup page tells you "You already have an account with this email address. Sign in to continue." Sign in with your existing account instead. This keeps your website, billing and trial in one place.
Your website is created automatically and you see "Your website is ready". From there you can open the Site Builder to set up your site, or visit your new website. You're already signed in, so there's nothing else to configure first.
The Site Manager is your website's home screen. It opens right after you sign in and replaces the usual WordPress dashboard with a clean, plain-language layout. From it you manage listings, leads, client accounts, agents, pages, blog posts, design settings, integrations, your plan and support. A Get your site ready checklist on the home screen shows what's left to do.
Most of the time, no. You work in the Site Manager, which opens right after you sign in. When you do open the classic admin screens (for example the page editor, the media library or your profile), they have the same look as the Site Manager: a clear menu with groups, a home page with your plan's usage, your latest leads and help articles, and light, dark or automatic mode. Menus you don't need, such as plugins and themes, are hidden because we manage them for you. Your team members never see the admin screens: they work only in the Site Manager. Depending on your plan, the full admin dashboard may not be included: you then do everything in the Site Manager, and the page editor, media library and your profile still open from it. Your sign-in page and the admin screens may have addresses of their own instead of the usual WordPress ones; the links in the Site Manager and in our emails always use the right ones.
Yes. Use the Book a demo page on this site to ask for a walkthrough. You can also start with a free trial when one is offered (see the Pricing page) and explore the real product with your own website.
Yes. In the Site Builder's Your listings step you can add optional sample content (demo listings and agents), so you can see how your site will look before your real data is in. You can replace or remove the sample content at any time.
Plans and pricing
How plans, add-ons and limits work, and how to change your plan later.
Pick the plan whose features and limits match what you need today: for example the MLS feed, a leads inbox, client accounts or several agents. The Pricing page and the plan comparison show exactly what each plan includes. You can upgrade or change your plan later from your Site Manager, so you don't have to get it perfect on day one.
Yes. Open Site Manager → Plan & Billing, choose Choose or change a plan, pick the new plan and continue to secure payment. Switching an existing subscription between monthly and yearly billing is done in place and prorated. Your website, listings and content stay exactly where they are when you change plans.
Prices depend on the plan you choose and on how you pay (monthly, yearly or, when offered, a one-time lifetime price). The current plans, prices, trials and any running promotions are always shown on the Pricing page, with the total updating live as you pick options. All prices are in one currency, shown on the Pricing page.
Plans differ in two ways:
- Features (modules) such as the MLS feed (RealtyFeed), map search, leads inbox, client accounts, agents, blog, multiple languages, the mobile app, the AI Agent, a custom domain and integrations.
- Limits such as storage, number of listings, pages, blog posts, team members, agent profiles, client accounts and leads per month. Each plan's limits for listings, team members, client accounts and leads are shown on its pricing card.
The Site Builder, the Site Manager and the privacy and cookie tools are included in every plan. See the Pricing and plan comparison pages for the exact mix.
Add-ons are single features you can buy on top of your plan, for example the blog, agents, multiple languages or a specific integration. Which features are offered as add-ons, and their prices, is shown on the Pricing page. You can tick them when you choose a plan at signup, or add them any time later in Site Manager → Plan & Billing → Add-ons. Some plans also offer a hosting add-on.
Yes. If a feature you need is sold as an add-on, open Site Manager → Plan & Billing → Add-ons and select Add — or select Add it to my plan on the screen of the feature you're missing. You see the price and how it's charged before you pay:
- Plan paid monthly or yearly by card: the add-on joins your plan. Today you pay only for the rest of the current billing period, then it's on the same invoice as your plan.
- Lifetime or other plans: the add-on is paid on its own through Stripe, monthly, yearly or once.
You can remove an add-on later: when it's part of your monthly or yearly plan, the unused part is credited to your next invoice; one paid on its own runs to the end of its period. Add-ons work while your website has an active plan.
Plans can be offered monthly, yearly and, for some plans, as a one-time lifetime payment. The Pricing page shows which options exist and how much you save with yearly billing. You can switch a subscription between monthly and yearly later; moving to a lifetime plan is done by buying it from your Plan & Billing page.
From time to time, yes. Running promotions are shown on the Pricing page, and if you have a code, enter it in the Have a code? field at signup or in Plan & Billing. A valid code is applied to your total before you pay. One-time setup fees are never discounted, and codes don't apply to add-ons you buy later. If you see "This code can't be used.", check the spelling, the dates and the plan or billing period the code was made for.
Nothing is deleted. Your Site Manager shows how much of each limit you use (Your plan's limits in Plan & billing, and next to Leads, Clients, Team and Listings) with an Upgrade button when you get close. When you reach a limit (for example the number of listings), nothing new can be added and your existing content stays online. Items in the trash don't count, so restoring one counts like adding a new one and waits until there's room. The limits work the same everywhere — in the Site Manager, the Site Builder, the AI Agent and when you copy MLS listings — and when your storage is full, the upload tells you so. Upgrade in a few clicks and the new limits apply right away. Leads are never lost: see the next question.
No. Over your plan's monthly lead limit, every new lead is still saved, but locked: you see that a lead arrived, and the notification email tells you so, without the person's name, contact details or message. Upgrade your plan and the locked leads open right away; otherwise they open when the next month starts. Your visitors don't notice anything.
Your plan's Team members limit counts you (the site owner) plus every manager, agent and assistant on your team who isn't blocked. Client accounts (your website visitors) don't count. The Team screen in your Site Manager shows how many seats you use; when it's full, block or remove someone, or upgrade your plan.
No. Listings shown live from your MLS through RealtyFeed don't count. Only listings stored on your site do: the ones you add yourself and MLS listings you copy into My listings to edit.
Features that aren't in your new plan are switched off and show an upgrade card in the Site Manager, but your content and settings are kept. If you upgrade again later, your earlier settings come back. Existing content is never removed because of a limit, though you won't be able to add more until you're under it.
Free trial and billing
Trials, secure payments with Stripe, invoices, failed payments and cancelling.
When a plan comes with a free trial, you get the full plan for the trial period so you can build and test your real website. The trial length is set per plan and shown on the Pricing page. Your Site Manager shows how many trial days are left, and we email you a reminder 3 days before the trial ends. To keep going, choose a plan in Site Manager → Plan & Billing.
It depends on the offer: many trials start instantly with no card at all, while some ask for card details at checkout and only charge when the trial ends. The signup page tells you which applies before you confirm. Either way you get a reminder before the trial ends.
No. The trial is there to try the product once. To keep it fair, the signup page doesn't accept one-time (disposable) email addresses, and it treats variations of one address — [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] — as the same account, which is asked to sign in instead of starting a new trial. If you need more time to decide, ask our support team about extending your trial.
We email you when the trial is about to end and again when it has ended. To keep your website online, choose a plan and pay in Site Manager → Plan & Billing. If no plan is chosen, there's a short grace period, after which the site may be paused. Your content is kept, and paying brings the site back online automatically.
If you need a few more days to decide, contact our support team before or shortly after your trial ends. Extensions are not guaranteed, but we're happy to look at your situation.
Payments are handled by Stripe, a leading payment provider. When you select Continue to secure payment, you're taken to Stripe's secure checkout page to enter your card details. We never see or store your full card number. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout where the provider has enabled it.
Your latest invoices are listed in Site Manager → Plan & Billing → Recent invoices, with a link to open each one. To see all of them, select Manage payment & invoices. This opens your secure Stripe billing portal, where you can update your card and download invoices and receipts. Stripe also emails you a receipt for each payment.
We email you and show a Payment failed banner in your Site Manager with an Update card button. Your site stays online during a grace period while the payment is retried. If it still isn't paid after that, the site is paused: visitors see a "temporarily unavailable" page, but you can still sign in and pay. Once paid, the site comes back online automatically. If a payment for an add-on you pay on its own fails, only that add-on is affected: it keeps working for a grace period, then turns off if it isn't paid.
Open Site Manager → Plan & Billing and select Cancel plan. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep everything you paid for until then. Changed your mind? Select Keep my plan before the period ends to undo it.
Please contact our support team about refunds. Refunds are reviewed case by case and, when approved, go back to your original payment method through Stripe.
Only the website's administrators (the site owner) can see Plan & Billing, change the plan, pay or cancel. Your team members (managers, agents and assistants) can't. Even when our support team helps you inside your Site Manager, they can't make payments or cancel your plan for you.
Website features
Property search, maps, listing pages, client accounts, SEO and the tools you get to run your site.
A complete real-estate website, ready for visitors:
- property search with price, beds, baths, city and feature filters;
- listings pages as a grid, a list or a half map (results beside a live map);
- detailed listing pages with photo gallery, map, video and virtual tour, mortgage calculator and an inquiry form;
- About, Contact, Agents and Blog pages;
- client accounts with favorites and saved searches;
- built-in SEO, a cookie consent banner and spam protection.
Some features depend on your plan; see the Pricing page.
Visitors can search and filter properties, browse on a map, view listing details, compare properties, heart their favorites, print or share a listing and send you an inquiry. If you turn on client accounts, they can also sign up to keep favorites on every device, save searches with email alerts and message your agents.
Client accounts let home buyers and renters sign up on your website. Signed-in visitors get a My account page with:
- Favorites synced across all their devices;
- Saved searches with daily or weekly email alerts for new matching listings;
- Messages with your agents;
- their profile, plus options to download or delete their data.
Visitors sign up with their email and a password and confirm their email address with a link (you can turn confirmation off). You can also offer Continue with Google with your own Google account settings. Client accounts belong to your website only and never see your Site Manager.
You see every client account in Site Manager → Clients, with their favorites, saved searches, conversations and notes. Client accounts are included in some plans; you can also make sign-up invite-only.
Your site can use OpenStreetMap (no key needed) or Google Maps (with your own Google Maps API key), or you can turn maps off. For extra privacy, you can choose to load the map only after a visitor clicks it. The half-map listings layout is part of the Map search feature included in some plans.
Yes, SEO is built in, so you don't need a separate SEO plugin. Your site creates search-friendly titles and descriptions for every page and listing, structured data that helps Google understand listings and your business, social sharing previews, and XML sitemaps that include your MLS listings. You can also edit the SEO title and description of any page or listing, choose readable listing web addresses and add your Google and Bing verification codes.
Yes. You can pick a ready-made pattern, such as state, city and address, or build your own, for example /listing/tx/austin/12-oak-st-78701/ABC123/. A live preview checks your pattern as you type. If you change it later, links that used your recent patterns automatically redirect to the new addresses, so shared and indexed links keep working.
Yes. Every page, including search, the half-map view and listing galleries, adapts to phones and tablets. On top of that, your website can be installed like an app on visitors' phones when your plan includes the mobile app feature.
Speed is built in. Listing content is rendered on the server, the main image loads first, other images load as visitors scroll, fonts are hosted on your own site, and map scripts only load on pages that show a map. Listing links can even start loading as a visitor hovers over them.
Yes, with the Analytics feature you add your GA4 Measurement ID (and optionally a Google Tag Manager container, which counts as custom code: on websites that share our platform's address it runs only when our team allows it). Useful events such as leads, listing views, searches, saved properties and phone or WhatsApp clicks are tracked for you. Tracking respects your cookie banner, and your own team's visits can be excluded.
Yes. Choose a light or dark site, or let it follow each visitor's device setting. You can also show visitors a sun and moon switch so they can choose for themselves.
Key parts of the website are designed to work with a keyboard and screen readers, including sign-in screens, carousels, the half-map toggle, dialogs and the AI chat. Reduced-motion settings are respected and images don't make pages jump while loading. As with any website, the content you add (such as image descriptions) also matters for accessibility.
Yes, out of the box. Your website refuses one-time (disposable) email addresses on client sign-up, team invitations and contact forms, and treats variations of one mailbox ([email protected], [email protected]) as the same address, so one person can't open several client accounts. Visitors never learn whether someone already has an account. You can turn these rules off, block more domains or allow a domain in Site Options → Email rules, unless the platform locks a rule.
Listings and MLS (RealtyFeed)
Showing MLS listings through RealtyFeed, adding your own listings and copying MLS listings to edit them.
Yes. Optimus Engine has a built-in MLS connection through RealtyFeed. Once connected, MLS listings appear on your website automatically: in search results, on map views, on city and property-type pages, and on your agents' pages. The MLS feed is a plan feature, so check that your plan includes it on the Pricing page.
RealtyFeed is Realtyna's MLS data service. It delivers listings from your MLS in the industry-standard RESO format, and Optimus Engine reads them directly. You connect with your own RealtyFeed API credentials, which you find in your RealtyFeed dashboard under API credentials (or, when your provider offers it, start with demo MLS data). Your credentials belong to your website only and are never shared with other websites; the rest of the connection is managed for you.
The easiest way is during setup: in the Site Builder's Your listings step, choose RealtyFeed (or both RealtyFeed and your own listings), choose Use my own RealtyFeed account, enter your credentials and pick which listings to show, such as all listings, your office, your own listings or certain cities. Select Test connection to check it works. No credentials yet? Choose Use demo MLS data when it's offered and switch later. You can change the connection at any time in Site Manager → MLS Feeds.
Yes, when your provider offers demo MLS data. In the Site Builder's Your listings step, Use demo MLS data is already chosen when you pick MLS listings and haven't entered an account yet: your website shows sample MLS listings right away, with search, maps and listing pages working, and there is nothing to enter. When you have your own RealtyFeed account, switch to Use my own RealtyFeed account in Site Manager → MLS Feeds and your MLS's listings take over.
No. MLS listings are shown "on the fly": they're fetched live from RealtyFeed, so new listings, price changes and status changes appear on your site without any importing. Each MLS listing still gets its own search-friendly page and is included in your sitemap. If the feed is briefly unavailable, your site keeps showing the most recent copy.
Yes. In Site Manager → Listings → MLS listings, select Copy to my listings on any listing. It becomes a regular listing on your site that you can edit, with the MLS photos included. The copy stays in sync with the MLS every hour, but every field you've changed yourself is kept. You can always select Use MLS details again to restore the MLS values. Copied listings count toward your plan's listing limit.
Yes, with or without an MLS connection. Go to Site Manager → Listings and select Add listing. The editor covers everything: price and key facts, description, photos (drag and drop, set a cover photo), documents and floor plans, open houses, video and virtual tour links, a map pin and SEO settings. You can save drafts, publish, feature listings and duplicate them.
Yes. Agents who sign in see only the listings they created or that are assigned to them, and new listings they add are assigned to them automatically. Managers and site owners see and manage every listing; assistants work on the listings of the agents they help. You can also let MLS listings link to your local agent profiles through their MLS ID.
Yes. Besides about 90 built-in fields, you can create custom fields in Site Manager → Listing Fields, such as a "View" or "HOA approval" field. A custom field can automatically appear in the listing editor, on listing cards and pages, and as a search filter.
Your site includes the usual compliance tools: an MLS/IDX disclaimer on listing pages, "Listing courtesy of" with the listing office, the date the data was last updated and an optional Equal Housing Opportunity notice. You write the disclaimer text in your settings, so you can match your MLS's rules. Your MLS's own approval and display rules still apply.
Listings shown on the fly come straight from RealtyFeed, with short caching to keep your site fast. MLS listings you've copied to your own listings are synced every hour — only the ones that changed in the MLS are updated, and all of them are re-checked weekly — and you choose what happens when one leaves the feed: by default it moves to the trash, where you can restore it for 30 days; you can also move it to drafts, mark it sold or keep it unchanged.
Leads, CRM and integrations
Where inquiries go, connecting your CRM, email and SMS tools, Zapier, AI and Realtyna Studio.
Every message sent through a form on your site (contact page, listing pages, agent pages or the client portal) is emailed to you or the right agent and saved in Site Manager → Leads, so nothing gets lost if an email goes astray. In the leads inbox you can mark leads as new, contacted or closed, reply, keep private or team notes, assign an agent and export to CSV. The leads inbox is a plan feature; without it, form messages are still emailed to you.
Yes. Each lead has a Conversation tab where you can write back. Your reply is emailed to the person and, if they have a client account, also shown in their Messages on your site. Private notes stay internal and are never shown to the client.
You can send new leads, client sign-ups, saved properties and saved searches to one of these CRMs:
- Follow Up Boss
- HubSpot
- Zoho CRM
- Salesforce
- GoHighLevel
You can also connect almost any other tool through Zapier. Each integration is a plan feature or add-on, so check the Pricing page for what's included.
Besides CRMs, you can connect:
- Mailchimp to grow your newsletter list from opt-in checkboxes on your forms;
- SendGrid to deliver your website's emails and collect newsletter contacts;
- Twilio for instant SMS alerts about new leads;
- Zapier to connect thousands of other apps;
- Claude, OpenAI or Gemini as an AI writing assistant;
- Realtyna Studio for the "Restyle this room" visualizer on listing photos.
Each integration has a Test connection button and an activity log, and failed deliveries are retried automatically.
Yes, with the Twilio integration and your own Twilio account. Agents (or your office) get an instant SMS for every new lead and when a client writes in their portal. You can also text clients when you reply, for people who gave a phone number. Make sure you collect SMS consent where your local rules require it.
Yes. Set up your own email server (SMTP) — Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, your host or an email service — and every email of your website comes from your own address (see the next question). Or, with SendGrid, deliver all your website's emails (lead notifications, replies, saved-search alerts and password resets) through your own SendGrid account. To build a newsletter list, connect Mailchimp or SendGrid Marketing Contacts: people who tick the opt-in checkbox on your forms are added to your list.
Yes. In Site Options → Email server (SMTP) you enter the details of your own email account (for Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, an app password) and select Send a test email to check it. From then on every email of your website — new leads, client sign-ups, team invitations, password resets and search alerts — goes through your server and comes from your address. Emails about your own plan and billing still come from us.
Yes. The Zapier integration sends new leads, client messages, new client accounts and, if you like, saved properties, saved searches and newsletter opt-ins to your Zaps. Zaps can also act on your site, for example to create leads, add notes or invite clients. They use a private site key that is stored encrypted, and they can only work with leads and client accounts — never your settings, listings or billing.
The AI Agent is a chat assistant inside your Site Manager. Ask it how to do something and it answers from our help center with links. Ask about your site and it gives exact numbers, such as how many new leads you have this week. It can also make simple changes for you, like updating a setting or a page title, but only after you approve with Yes, do it, and every change can be undone. It never touches billing, passwords, users or other sites. The AI Agent is available on plans that include it, with daily usage limits.
Yes. Connect Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI or Gemini (Google) with your own API key, and you get an AI writing assistant for listing descriptions, SEO titles and descriptions, blog drafts and lead reply drafts. Everything is a draft you review; nothing is published automatically. AI usage is billed by the AI provider to your own account, and you can set a monthly request limit.
Yes. Your website can have its own MCP server (Model Context Protocol), so AI apps such as Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or VS Code can read your website and answer questions like "How many new leads did we get this month?" or "Which listings have no photos?". You turn it on in your Site Manager, create an access key and add it to your AI app. The MCP server is included in some plans or available as an add-on, depending on your package — see the Pricing page.
No changes: the MCP server is read only, so nothing on your website can be changed through it. You choose what the assistant may read (settings, pages, listings, leads, client accounts, SEO and more), and names, e-mail addresses and phone numbers of leads and client accounts are masked unless you turn that on. Passwords and integration keys are never readable, and you can revoke an access key at any time.
Realtyna Studio adds a Restyle this room button to listing photos. Visitors can try different floors, wall colors, rugs and furniture on the photo they're looking at, for your own and MLS listings. No Realtyna Studio account or key is needed on your side, it respects your cookie banner, and you can hide it on any listing. Realtyna Studio is available when your provider offers it and your plan includes it.
No, one CRM integration can be active at a time, so the same lead isn't created twice. The same goes for one SMS service, one AI provider and one newsletter list. Zapier and Realtyna Studio can always run alongside the others; just avoid feeding the same CRM from Zapier and its direct integration at once.
Design and content
Starter designs, colors, headers and footers, pages, blog posts, agents and testimonials.
Yes. In the Site Builder you start from one of six designs (Classic, Coastal, Luxury, Midnight, Modern and Urban), then choose your colors, font pair, corner style and light or dark mode, all with a live preview. You can fine-tune everything later in Site Manager → Site Options → Design without starting over.
Yes. Upload your logo, pick your brand colors (primary, accent, background, text and more) and choose from fonts such as Inter, Poppins, Montserrat, DM Sans, Playfair Display and Lora. Fonts are hosted on your own site by default, which is faster and more private for your visitors.
Yes. The Site Builder creates your main pages for you (Home, About, Contact, Agents, Blog, Saved properties and My account). Add more in Site Manager → Pages, starting from a blank page or from a ready-made About or Contact template, and edit them in the WordPress block editor with ready-made real-estate blocks and page sections. The number of pages may be limited by your plan.
Yes, when your plan includes the Blog feature. Write posts in the block editor, or in the simple blog editor inside the Site Manager (that's where your managers write), organize them with categories and tags, and choose a grid, list or magazine layout. Posts can show author boxes, share buttons, related posts and a "Search homes" banner that leads readers to your listings.
Yes. Each agent gets a profile with photo, bio, contact details, license, languages and social links (including WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn and more). Profiles appear on your Agents page, on their own agent page with their listings and a contact form, and on the listings they handle. The number of agent profiles depends on your plan.
Yes. Invite each person from Site Manager → Team with the role that fits:
- Managers (office staff) handle all listings, leads, client accounts, agent profiles and blog posts, but not billing or site settings;
- Agents see only their own listings, leads and clients, and edit their own profile;
- Assistants help the agents you choose, without publishing or deleting.
Everyone gets their own email and password and signs in to your Site Manager at your website's address followed by /manager/, with optional 2-step codes by email. Billing and site settings stay with the site owner. The number of team members depends on your plan.
Yes. Add reviews with the client's name, rating, photo and where the review came from (for example Google or Zillow), then show them on your home page or About page as a carousel, grid or masonry wall. Testimonials are a plan feature.
Yes. Every change to your site settings is saved in the options history (Site Options → History of all settings) with a before-and-after view, whether you made it yourself, in the Site Builder or through the AI Agent. You can restore any earlier value, and even undo a whole Site Builder run in one click.
Your site has fields for custom CSS and code snippets (for example a tracking pixel or a Google Tag Manager container), but on our hosted platform they are normally reserved for our team for security reasons: the Advanced settings appear on your website when our team opens them for you. Websites that share our platform's web address only run custom code when our team allows it for that website, because scripts there could reach other websites on the same address; with your own domain this isn't a concern. For Google Analytics, use the built-in Analytics settings instead. If you need something else, ask our support team about your options.
Languages and mobile app
Multilingual websites, right-to-left languages and the installable mobile app.
Yes, with the Multiple languages feature. Visitors switch languages with a language switcher, and each language gets its own web address (for example /fr/), so search engines can find every version. Each page, blog post or listing holds all its languages, so there's only one item to manage. You can translate pages, blog posts, your own listings (every detail, feature list, floor plan and photo description), listing types and features, agents, testimonials, menus, the header and footer, and every visitor-facing text in your settings. Emails also go out in each recipient's language.
The languages on offer are chosen by your provider from a catalog of about 45 languages, and the multilingual feature commonly starts with English, French, Spanish, German and Arabic. Your plan sets how many languages your site can use at once. Check the Pricing page or ask us if you need a specific language.
Yes. Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu are displayed right to left automatically, including the layout of your pages.
You stay in control of your translations. Every text field visitors read has language tabs and a Copy from EN shortcut, pages, posts and listings let you switch the language you're writing in right in the editor, and where your provider enables it, Suggest translation proposes an AI translation for you to review. Built-in texts such as buttons and labels come with the platform, and you can adjust any of them per language in the language editor. Content that isn't translated yet can fall back to your main language.
No. A page, blog post or listing keeps every language inside it: in the editor you choose the language you're writing in, and each translation can have its own web address (for example /fr/a-propos/) or simply use the main one with the language prefix. You can keep a translation as a draft until it's ready, and the language switcher links the versions for your visitors.
MLS listings come from your MLS in their original language and are shown in every language version of your site. The surrounding site, such as menus, buttons, labels and search filters, appears in the visitor's language.
Yes. With the Mobile app feature, visitors can install your website on their phone like an app: it gets its own home-screen icon with your branding, opens full screen, and recently viewed listings and pages still open when the connection drops. It's a web app (PWA), so there's nothing to publish in the App Store or Google Play, and updates reach everyone automatically.
On Android and desktop browsers, visitors see an install banner or button on your site. On iPhone and iPad, your site shows simple Add to Home Screen steps. You can also share a QR code from Site Manager → Mobile App that opens your website on any phone.
Yes. Set the app name, a short name for the home screen, the icon (or let us generate one from your site icon), theme colors, the start page and up to four shortcuts such as search, favorites or contact. A readiness check in Site Manager → Mobile App tells you when everything is in place.
Security, privacy and your data
Backups, sign-in security, spam protection, cookie consent, GDPR tools and who owns your data.
Your listings, pages, blog posts, photos, leads and client accounts are your content, and you can export key data such as leads and client accounts at any time. Our support staff open your Site Manager only to help you, and every visit is time-limited, needs a reason and is recorded. The exact terms are in our Terms of Service.
Yes. You can download your leads and your client accounts as CSV files from the Site Manager, ask our support team for an export of your site settings, and export your custom listing fields. If you need help with a larger export, contact our support team.
Yes. Websites are backed up on a schedule managed by our team, and every backup is encrypted. If something goes wrong, our support team can restore your site from a backup. For everyday mistakes you can also undo settings changes yourself in the options history (Site Options → History of all settings) and restore pages and posts from the trash.
Several layers protect your sign-in:
- password rules, and a Confirm password check wherever a password is chosen;
- protection against repeated failed sign-ins with a temporary lockout, counted per account across the whole platform;
- spam protection (CAPTCHA) on sign-in and registration forms when turned on — built in, or Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha;
- optional sign-in with Google where your provider offers it;
- for your team: their own sign-in for each person, optional 2-step codes by email (you can require them for everyone), and a list of signed-in devices they can sign out;
- for your client accounts: email confirmation and secure password-reset links;
- one-time (disposable) email addresses are refused, and variations of one address (
[email protected],[email protected]) count as one account, so failed sign-ins and limits count them together; - API keys and passwords you save in settings (integrations, your Zapier key, your own CAPTCHA keys) are stored encrypted with a platform key kept outside the database, shown as dots and never shown again;
- connected apps such as Zapier get only the rights they need (leads and client accounts), never your administrator access;
- actions that can't be undone, such as clearing your settings history, ask for your password first, and only you as the website owner can clear it;
- the platform can give the sign-in and admin pages addresses of its own and hide technical details from visitors (software version, user names, unused interfaces such as XML-RPC), which keeps automated scanners away. This adds to the protections above; it doesn't replace them.
Yes. Forms have hidden spam traps and per-visitor limits, and with the Spam protection feature you add a CAPTCHA to inquiry forms, sign-in, registration, password reset and blog comments. The built-in CAPTCHA offers an invisible check, a simple math question or a picture code; it uses no third-party service and sets no cookies. Each check works only once, so bots can't keep guessing. You can also use Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha, with the platform's keys or your own. Forms also refuse one-time (disposable) email addresses.
Your site includes the tools you need to respect privacy laws such as the GDPR:
- a cookie consent banner with Accept all, Reject non-essential and per-category choices;
- consent checkboxes on forms and at sign-up, linked to your privacy policy;
- automatic deletion of old leads or inactive client accounts if you want it;
- download-my-data and delete-my-account options for your client accounts.
These tools help you comply, but they aren't legal advice; check your obligations with a professional.
You pick the style (a bar, a corner box or a centered dialog), the texts and the optional cookie categories (Analytics, Marketing, Functional). Until a visitor agrees, Google Analytics runs in consent mode and tools like Realtyna Studio and marketing trackers wait. Visitors can change their choice any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer, and browsers that send Global Privacy Control are respected.
To help you, our support staff can open your Site Manager as you. Each visit is time-limited, needs a reason, and everything done is recorded. A violet banner shows while it's active, and sensitive actions are blocked: support can't change your email or password, delete users or your site, make payments or cancel your plan.
Yes. In Site Manager → Clients you can erase a client account and its data (GDPR delete). Clients can also download or delete their own data from their My account page.
Support, hosting and moving your site
Help center, support tickets, domains, hosting and moving an existing website to Optimus Engine.
Help is built into your Site Manager:
- the Help Center has step-by-step articles with search, and a Help for this page button on many screens;
- the AI Agent answers how-to questions and links to the right article, and can open a support ticket for you when it can't help (only after you say yes), when your plan includes it;
- Support Tickets let you write to our team and follow the conversation, with attachments, when your plan includes the help desk.
Our support email and contact details are also shown on your Site Manager home screen.
Open Site Manager → Support Tickets and select New ticket. Add a subject, choose how urgent it is, describe the issue and attach screenshots or files if useful. Your website address and the page you came from are added automatically, so you don't have to explain where you are. You'll see when we've answered, and you can reply in the same conversation.
Yes. When the AI Agent can't answer a question about your website, or you ask to talk to a person, it offers to open a support ticket for you. It shows what our team will read and waits for your answer: nothing is sent until you say yes. Our team then replies in the ticket, and you get an email. This works on plans that include both the AI Agent and support tickets.
When you sign up you choose your website's name, and your site gets an address on our network right away (for example yourname. followed by our domain, or our domain followed by /yourname/). When we offer more than one domain, you pick the one you like from the list next to the name. We check the address is available as you type and suggest alternatives if it's taken. A name can be used only once on all our domains.
You can change the name or the domain later in Site Manager → Domain → Your free address, once a day; your old address forwards visitors for 30 days. You can also move to your own domain if your plan includes it.
Yes, when your plan includes the Custom domain feature (in your plan or as an add-on). You connect it yourself in Site Manager → Domain:
- Enter your domain, for example
www.yourrealty.comoryourrealty.com. - Add the DNS records the page shows at the company that manages your domain, with a Copy button for each value.
- We check your records and set up the secure certificate (HTTPS) for you.
- Your website switches to your domain only when everything works — automatically, or when you choose.
Until then your website keeps its current address, and you can go back to the platform address at any time. If your plan doesn't include it yet, the page offers to add it. On some platforms our team connects domains for you: then the page lets you open a support ticket.
Yes. You don't need to buy or install a certificate: once your domain points to us, the secure certificate is set up and renewed for you. Your website only switches to your domain when HTTPS works on it, and then it always opens with https://.
Your website runs on our managed platform, so there are no servers for you to set up. Depending on the plan, hosting is included or offered as an add-on; the Pricing page shows which. Our team takes care of the servers, caching, backups and platform updates. If you have specific hosting or uptime requirements, please contact us before signing up.
Optimus Engine includes a migration tool for websites built with the Houzez theme, including sites using MLS On The Fly. When our team makes it available for your site, it can bring over your Houzez custom fields, properties (with images, floor plans and attachments), agents and agencies, and your MLS mappings, with a test run first. Contact our support team to ask whether migration is available for you. Your original Houzez data is never deleted.
There's no automatic importer for other themes. Most people find it quickest to run the Site Builder, connect their MLS through RealtyFeed and copy over their own texts and listings. If you have a lot of content to move, contact our support team first to talk about the best approach.
Optimus Engine is built on WordPress, and as the site owner you can open the classic admin screens and the block editor any time. Because the platform is managed for you, plugins and themes are installed and updated by our team (their menus are hidden on your website), and which plugins are available is decided by our team. Most real-estate features, such as SEO, spam protection, cookie consent and the leads inbox, are already built in, so you usually don't need extra plugins.
Yes. We update the platform for everyone, so new features and fixes reach your site without any work on your side. Your own settings and changes are kept through updates. See the What's new page for the latest release notes.
We'd love to hear from you. Use Share Feedback in your Site Manager any time, answer the short monthly survey when it appears, or open a support ticket with your idea.
